Amir Meshal fled Somalia after ejecting Islamic administration. So that he was arrested on the Kenya border. Later he was punished by US agents and investigated him. At that time, he says that he was trained by al-Qaeda in Somalia. He was released in May 2007 and returned back to America. State department of US reasoned for his transfer from Kenya to Ethiopia. FBI rewarded the Egyptian around $250,000 because of he was treated after terrorist attack on 11 September 2001.  Ethiopia has been supporting for America like a friend in fight against al-Qaeda in East Africa by sending troops to Somalia.
