I am so incredibly sleep-deprived…I was exhausted yesterday, and of course last night was a Finn-wakes-mama-up-every-hour-because -he’s-hungry night.
I feel like I’ve been run over by a bus. A cute, smiling, happy bus…and I have to go to work and function somehow today. Oy.
So your testing whether endorphins and caffeine lead to workplace productivity today, eh?
I survived. Actually got a lot of stuff crossed off my list, too. ๐
I remember those nights. At least it will probably be a slow day.
It started off with a contentious teleconference between the account people and the editorial team…I hate needless drama and people who want to chuck everyone else under the bus for no reason.
Finny doesn’t seem too worse for the wear after his busy night. I’m the one looking forward to bedtime.
I hope the day wasn’t too bad and you got a decent night’s sleep last night.
I got one 2 hour stretch before the hourly thing started. I was looking forward to sleeping in an hour this morning (I have a client meeting and don’t have to go to the office first), but someone started snoring next to me and now CBtE is up and making a racket…
grr.
That’s why the FSM made comfy couches. ๐
I almost punched the snoring person who suggested I could go sleep there. I am really tired.
::backs away carefully::
Uh, couch, what couch.
I knew you’d see it my way. ๐
I’m a very quick learner … with the right incentive.

Gorgeous.
Alas, not much more sleep last night than the night before. I hope this isn’t anything more than a 6-month growth spurt, because I’m not sure how much longer I can function on no sleep.
What are you up to today?
Got my walk in early and spent the rest of the day avioding the heat. Same plan today. ๐
I hope Finn gives you a break soon.
That’s a beautiful scene!
It’s kind of misleadingly empty because the summit itself is just crawling with people. The day we were there, it was jammed with the motorcycles and many, many folks with many, many tattoos.
What a view! Did you go all the way to the observatory? I see the current temp there is unusually balmy at 61F.
We drove up to the summit. It was unusually warm the day we were there (also about 60). Plus the wind was only in the 40s.
Beautiful picture, Andi! Really lovely humps.
Thanks. And my humps thank you too. ๐
Hope to see you all there.
The theme is Textures
Looking forward to it!

That’s certainly a record for earliest Flog posting … and I’ve got no desire to ever try to beat it.
And you’re the early riser. ๐
I thought our paths would intersect w/ your coming and my going but I didn’t want to wait any longer.
Greetings everyone! I’ll be offline for a few weeks while traveling, but checking in and enjoying keeping up with the cafe!!!
Hi! Have a great trip (I’m hoping you’ll check in with pictures from your travels)!
will indeed, though not until I get back!!!
Have a great trip. And remember, we love seeing pictures in the cafe … even if we have to wait till you get back.
thanks! and second part of summer travels may take me through Indiana! will email (just not sure if I will have time to drive).
I could come and meet you somewhere if you aren’t too far away. I’m a bit over 50 miles south of downtown Indianapolis.
A mini-meetup here would be wonderful! Andi knows how to contact me and we live just a few minutes away from each other. Have a fun trip, wherever you wind up!
Maybe we can lure Errol here with fried biscuits and sassafras tea.
Errol, the fried biscuits are to die for;-)
I want to come try them too. ๐
I guess we’ll see if they can lure you down from Michigan, then. ๐
P.S. If you’re going home by way of i70 and don’t want to come this far, we could meet in Indy.
<ahem> we have some really nice log cabins here, too, for those who prefer that sort of lifestyle…
Have a great trip!
Be well-rounded but make sure you stick out a bit in the crowd.

Going for a walk … won’t be right back. ๐
Have a nice walk!
