Dick Lugar just smacked down Mitt Romney so hard that it will leave a permanent mark all the way through the 2012 primaries and general election (if Mittens is the candidate). Ouch. Just ouch.

Romney not only is an underscored fool but Lugar demonstrates a working knowledge that brings a sigh of relief. In the comment section the only negative comment comes from an idiot who didn’t bother to read either Romney’s or Lugar’s piece even though Lugar’s was just 2 inches away.
Brings a smile to see that once again you were ahead of the game to point out Romney’s blank slate comprehension.

Can you name me any of the leading 2012 GOP contenders(at this point) that aren’t a blank slate?
Yup. What is Romney Talking About. I didn’t know enough about nuclear weapons to do the job that Lugar did. Plus, coming from Lugar, the criticism is a billion times more effective and devastating.
Here’s the tell with regard to Romney’s knowledge.
Strategic Arms Reduction Talks (START)
Tactical nuclear weapons are not strategic arms last time I checked.
What Romney really was pushing was TART talks.
It’s as simple as that. If he doesn’t understand the name of the negotiations he’s really completely lost with national security issues.
Makes you wish that Lugar had the cojones to become a Democrat.
Lugar’s all right. Too conservative for me, but he’s a thinking man, not a wacko. I’d rather have him in the caucus than Ben Nelson, and I think you know what I think of Lieberman.
I think we can now say officially that Multiple-Choice Mitt is dumber than pigshit.
That is powerful-stupid.
