After the 9/11 attacks, everyone loved New York and was eager to bomb someone to avenge it. After the economic collapse, everyone hates New York again. Somehow, this feels more comfortable. Like an old pair of sneakers.

Some may choose to characterize envy as hatred. It sells newspapers.
I’ve been thinking about hatred a lot lately. Yes, something always explains it. However, Wall Street has earned it’s current standing.

totally agree. I can’t STAND the Yankees (being a Minnesota fan) but I can’t WAIT to go to NY in a few weeks for a nice 3 day weekend in Manhattan!
Some people thought New York got what it deserved. People around the country were vindictive about the attack on the US more than NY. That’s why so many homeland security dollars went to protecting places like Topeka.
it’s the Yankees, the Jets, and Wall Street.
This is mostly about the Yankees, isn’t it.
