Don’t worry about jinxing anyone. Which politicians who you think are likely to lose on November 2nd are you going to be the happiest to see out of public life? You can pick a Democrat and a Republican if you like.

So much fail.
Judd Gregg. Ugh. One of the brains behind the party of no strategy, I think his turning down of the Commerce Secretary position was really one of the huge tells that the GOP was going to sabotage the Obama presidency at all costs.
This started the day after the election….
You needed Gregg to tell you that? I knew from what The Quittah was saying on the campaign trail.
It’s hard to get too excited about any politicians leaving the scene when a whole new boatload of clowns seems likely to take their place. That said, I’ll play. I’m not going to use any also-rans for my picks; established national officeholders only. And I still don’t have a good read on what’s going to happen next week, so no predictions. So I’ll go with two safe choices: Jim Bunning and Evan Bayh (Bayh over Lincoln because he’s more of a media peacock and therefore more annoying).
On the other hand, there is always Randy Stufflebeam.
Doesn’t matter. They won’t be out of public life. They’ll be Fox News “commentators”.
Very good point. We actually see these asshats more on TV when they aren’t “working” for us. On Morning Joe or Dancing With The Stars or reading their awful Tweets.
The only awful ones I know who are already in office and who aren’t going to win are those who are quitting. (That “retiring” line is annoying as hell.) Such as the horrible Governor Pawlenty up in MN.
Ummm…
Don’t Watch!
Blanche Lincoln, for one.
Yes, I agree.
My state senator, Dan Debicella, who decided to challenge Jim Himes for congress rather than cruise to re-election. Debicella’s most well known for being one of only a handful of state senators to vote against a bill to force Catholic hospitals to provide full medical care, including contraception, to rape victims.
Barney Frank (Rep. Massachusetts) is a buffoon when it comes to the Middle East, ignorant as a stone, but I still would not like to see him go.
Sadly, the applies to everyone in D.C., including all Democrats except Dennis K., Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters, Feingold and Sanders.
I can’t wait to see the last of the Governator. Equally true for that obnoxious b*tch eMeg who’s trying to buy the office and looks (thankfully!) like failing.
Blanche is the one.
Should we be glad that Arlen Specter is leaving?
He has driven me crazy over the years, the way he talks out of two sides of his mouth. But if Toomey is the next PA senator, God, how I’ll miss Arlen!
Blanche Lincoln
Rahm Emanuel
Is there more than one party? I thought there was only the POC (Party of Corporate-whores)
