Everything I’m reading indicates he was forced out, that he’s prohibited by contract (i.e., probably a big sum of money) from joining any other network for a long time, and that this all has “nothing to do” with the upcoming Comcast/NBC merger. Not sure that I believe that last part, but it hardly matters.

A strong, indeed, fearless voice from the left has been silenced. This is a horrible omen of worse to come, I fear.
