This Associated Press story is kind of funny because it assumes that they are moderates among the Republicans who are thinking of running for president in 2012. Maybe Jon Huntsman could qualify; we’ll have to see. But even the candidates like Romney and Pawlenty, who have somewhat moderate records, are hardly running as moderates. And if the AP is correct, we might discover that only the social conservatives will compete in the Iowa caucuses. I can see it now. Rick Santorum beats out Michele Bachmann, and then on to New Hampshire!

i still have my letter from Ricky, clarifying his man on dog comments. It made no sense, of course: iirc, he claimed he wasn’t condemning gay sex, but ALL sex (i think that was unintentional, but that’s what it said).
he’d be a hilarious candidate.
My guess is that Bachmann would beat Little Ricky in that match-up. They are both batsh-t insane, but Bachmann gets all the GOP men excited, so that will be the difference.
Ah…your comment brings back memories of a simpler time that seems like oh so long ago…..when young men saw stars and their hearts were aflutter at the sight of their dreamy heartthrob…..
By golly, Calvin, I think you might be right.
