So, are you more interested in the Royal Wedding or the NFL Draft? I know I’m reading more about Prince Amukamara of Nigeria than Prince William of Wales. But, you know, I’m a dude.

you forgot “neither” as an option.
yeah, i’m completely uninterested in both. i don’t even know when the NFL draft is.
Actually, I have a more pedestrian concern. I’m most interested in when it is going to be dry enough for me to cut my grass.
I was hoping Prince would fall to the Lions, but am pretty happy they got Fairley…that’s going to be quite the team in the middle with him and Suh.
The wedding coverage seems over the top, but it’s kind of nice…I usually bitch about how the news is always about depressing things like murder and theft, so even though I’m not all that interested in the wedding I guess it’s a nice change of pace to, you know, actually have news worth raising a beer in celebration.
The Lions are going to have a scary defense, that’s for sure. Can they keep their quarterback off injured reserve though?
There was a wedding?
Let’s see – watch an example of capitalistic excess by seeing how rich men buy and sell the contracts on other men who hope to be rich, or watch an example of aristocratic privilege by watching the over-the-top pomp of a state wedding.
Hmm. I don’t know – can I choose “smash my fingers repeatedly with a ball-peen hammer” instead of either? Neither of those particularly interest me these days.
Like.
I watched the first half hour of the wedding when the main players were arriving, then I had to go to work. I mostly wanted to see her wedding gown and her walk down the aisle, so after that I turned it off and haven’t turned the teevee on again.
I like weddings. I actually got married the same year as Charles and Diana, in a slightly less lavish event. I’ve stayed married for thirty years, so I figure I did better than they did in the long run.
I don’t know much about the NFL draft; I just watch the Bengals until they get a few losses under their belts and then give up.
The Royal Wedding. I watched the wedding from beginning to the balcony scene and then cut it off. All that other stuff (pre-wedding commentary, all the stuff that’s going to be used, etc etc) is too much. It makes me yearn for what I can never have and I don’t want the imitation crap they sell either.
I don’t give a crap about the NFL draft. Not one bit.
OT, but Ugh!!! Joey Lawrence, if Nell Carter was still alive she would slap yo azz!!!
Donald Trump gets support from ‘Blossom’ star Joey Lawrence
Ugh…Nell is turning over in her grave.
I’ve got a date with Orly Taitz tonight, so everything is good in my world.
I honestly loathe the NFL. And i hate the draft. The draft is the most worthless waste of time on television. I don’t begrudge football fans their actual games, but I find the volume of hype about professional football disgusting. ESPN spends 10 times more time covering the god damn draft then it spends covering tennis ALL YEAR.
I woke up at 3:15 this morning to watch the wedding…loved it. 🙂
Hey! I got an e-mail from him once — some sort of money troubles back in Lagos.
