Think Like A Republican

If the Republicans are all going to run Willie Horton ads against each other throughout primary season, the whole sad spectacle might actually have a touch of entertainment value. Maybe they can call each other socialists and question each other’s citizenship, too. And someone can come up with a theory that Mormonism is a cult, not a religion, and is therefore not protected under the First Amendment and thus Mormons can’t vote and certainly can’t stand for office. Herman Cain seems like a logical guy to introduce this theory but it sounds more like a Michele Bachmann special. As for Bachmann, has anyone noticed that she wouldn’t be eligible to be president if we followed the intent of the Tea Partying Founding Fathers? They very clearly intended for Ms. Bachmann to stay at home and bake pies, not become a member of Congress and run for president. She should honor original intent and drop out. Also, too, Cain.
