I guess Helene Cooper drew the short stick at the New York Times and got stuck live-blogging the golf game between President Obama, Vice President Biden, Speaker Boehner, and Governor John Kasich (R-OH). As of an hour ago, she didn’t even know where they were playing. But she’s going to keep us updated.

I get why he might golf with Boehner, but why Kasich?
Kasich is to the right of Boehner. yuck.
Kasich was invited by Boehner, it has nothing to do with Obama’s politics otherwise neither of those people would be there.
Should have sent Muareen Dowd. She would be able to tell how Obama holds the golf club is another sign of how detached he is.
So if Boehner wins prepare for the media to claim this is how the negotiations are going.

Makes sense to me. She sounds about right for such a shameless media massage. Obama really needs to get over wishing he was Bush.
