Hello again painting fans.
This week I’ll be continuing with the painting of the Ferrari F430. I will be using the photo seen directly below.
I’m using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time, I have continued to work on the painting.
This week I’ve finally addressed the long-suffering background. I did not want to paint the background seen in the photo. After some consideration, I settled on a simple mound with a thin bit of sky at the top. I’m not sure if this is a mountain or just some large shrubs, but it works for me. And with that, the painting is done.
The current, and final, state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
That’s about it for now. Next week I’ll have an entirely new piece to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.
Paint me a picture of your thoughts.
That’s very nice work, boran2! Thanks for sharing your progress with us.
Thanks ID!
Wow, that turned out nice. I especially like the colors.
Here is one of The Boy’s new paintings…as usual, huge and kinda weird, but the colors are really appealing to me.
That`s quite the painting.
I remember some of his other terrific works.
Thanks SN! That is an amazing painting. I like the bird folk. How big is it?
I’m guessing about 36×48.
I think it has definite Bosch-like qualities;-)
I like it!
Boran 2,
Great finish to this piece.
I can`t guess as to what the next one will be.
Did you get my “plate” image on last weeks presentation?
Thanks Knucklehead! I did see your plate. It’s interesting (and cool) how people know you that way.
Boran2,
I`v`e had those plates for over 30 years.
I have images of a pair of my old trucks with the same plates, one as KAZUL T, & one as KASUL T.
Check my email addy below.
I also have another email address with the “S”
I like to say that I know everybody in Malibu, & if I don`t, they know me. That`s 23 miles long by about 10 miles into the mountains. I also know thousands of people in a 100 mile radius from here. I`m not trying to hurt my arm patting myself on the back, but I found out years ago to always be kind to others, & they will remember you.
