Man. Today was just one of those days. First, Finn had been asleep for about fifteen minutes when about thirty emergency vehicles drove past the house with their sirens blaring. There was a big pileup on the turnpike. Then once I got him settled down and was getting ready to write, the power went out. Then someone down the road lit their backyard on fire and I had more sirens and firetrucks tearing down my street. Then, because he was overtired and wanted his mother, he started to really give me the business. I’m fried. All I can do is sit down and watch the Philly Union match against the Chicago Fire. I might be asleep before halftime. Or, I might get my second wind and you’ll see me around again tonight. I can’t really say right now. All i know is that I’m tired. It was kind of cool to have a recommended diary at Daily Kos about how much I rule. That was nice.

Get your rest, you need it. I tweeted that post around too, it made total fracking sense.
when BooMan and the Finny are walking down the road looking for mommy’s car when she comes home…
FWIW, the little guy is sound asleep now. 🙂
Get your rest. The world will wait one day for you to recover. Hope you enjoyed the game.
That was a weird diary. Someone who agrees with the person I agree with isn’t necessarily someone I’ll agree with. Or maybe it’s just that diarist.
Though I do concur that you rule. On your good days. Of course, even I rule on my good days.
Rules are made to be bent, if not broken.
I seldom read those sidebar diaries at DK anymore, but I still skim the list – you totally deserved to be praised in a recommended diary, so I read that one. But it was preaching to the choir as far as I’m concerned. Hope it drives other DK readers your way.
Speaking of that diary, why do you co-opt so few diaries now? You did a lot more in both Green and Orange in the past (there was that one recently, though).
I don’t know. I don’t know anyone over there anymore and the comments sections lack all civility. It’s not home anymore.
Yes, but my point is that you’d reach a larger audience. Hell, don’t even respond to commenters. Just present your case and let them discuss it among themselves.
Well, if you post and don’t respond to comments, Meteor Blades gets upset. And he’s right. That’s not really cool to just spam the site for readership.
the audience might be larger, but it’s so overwhelmingly bought into the doomsday scenario I’m not sure it’s an audience worth spending time on. Maybe in a year or two it’ll be relevant again.
I gotta go read that diary! I know I’ll totally agree. 🙂
What is the diary? can’t find it this morning, yesterday, for once I didn’t peruse kos
Here you go Errol, I enjoyed reading it last night.
Damn It. BooMan Rules. Know Your Enemies Indeed. (ACTION Diary)

I’m guessing you wouldn’t appreciate fireworks outside your window starting every other night at around 9 o’clock, either.
Sounds like you & Finn got a neighborhood bite outta Obama’s day. If only he could pack up his cranky kids and take them for a walk to find reasonableness.
