I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving and that you don’t forget to eat your mac n’ cheese. Stay safe on the roads because almost everyone drinks on Thanksgiving. And save some room for pie! Also, enjoy your family and don’t root for the Cowboys.

I hope you and CG and the guys all have a great Thanksgiving, too. I have a 27 pound turkey roasting in the oven, four desserts all finished, green beans warming in the crock pot (I cooked them all day yesterday) and two loaves of home made bread rising. And I made up a batch of your cranberry sauce yesterday, too. Looking forward to fourteen of us here at my house.
As the year draws to a close, we all take stock of how we’re doing. So far, we’re doing pretty well. Still have our house, mostly our health, and we are still working. That’s a lot anymore.
Thanks for being here, BooMan. I enjoy your insights in politics and life in general.
We’re going to our urban hipsters for homecooked Thai, to the consternation of the traditionally inclined Big Woman.I wonder if it will be turkey curry? Sounds excellent to me.
Now we need to hear your review of the cranberry sauce. And Man Eegee’s, too.
Thanksgiving dinner was a smash. Everyone had a good time, ate entirely too much, and we all enjoyed dining elbow to elbow.
The dessert table was loaded with all homemade goodies, including apple pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin marbled cheesecake, a pumpkin roll, and the hit of the evening, a peanut butter pie. Everyone said next year to skip dinner and just have desserts.
And the cranberry sauce was a hit, too. I altered a few things because I don’t like the texture of pears, so I just added apple, and I don’t like raisins in stuff, so I left them out. It was tart, rich, and delicious.
I hope everyone had a great holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving! And I never root for the Cowboys. 😉

Happy Thanksgiving, BooMan! Give Finn a hug for me. Who are these Cowboys of which you speak?

Happy Thanksgiving to Boo and all the others here who provide a small refuge from the baked potatoes serving as pundits and journalists elsewhere.
As far as the Cowboys, the only thing I root for re anything Texas is secession.
