I’ve got a bit of writer’s block this morning. I thought Mitt Romney actually had a great debate last night, which I’m not very happy about. He finally learned how to act more like a man than a weasel, and that makes him dangerous. What’s on your mind this morning?

it’s raining. Piggie of the Week got a shout out from the Inquirer online. Procrastinating on business plan writing.
Really sad to learn of the passing of Robert Hegyes, a Jersey Boy who played Juan Epstein on Welcome Back, Kotter. I loved that show and the Epstein character.
Voted most likely to take a life. Favorite subject? Assault.
Ya know, I used to LOVE that show as a kid.
But 15 years removed… Kaplan’s just phoning it in.
One of those good news/bad news weeks for me.
Bad News: I need extensive dental work and we have no dental insurance. So I’ll be tapping our general FLEX plan and depleting it for the year. I hate the insurance game. Plus I hate dental work.
Good news: One of my hooked rug portraits was selected in a juried contest for a magazine to be published in August, and another one in that same contest last year was voted second place out of fifty rugs and will also be featured in the magazine. So that’s all good.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I’m sick of the Republican debates, btw.
congrats and enjoy some limelight!
Congratulations! And good luck with that dental work.
and here i was looking forward to watching newt slaughter the teleprompter-in-chief in a series of lincoln-douglas-style debates …

I thought Mitt Romney actually had a great debate last night, which I’m not very happy about.
I do love that every pundit under the sun has now declared Romney the winner, by a large margin, in Florida despite Newt’s latest brutal commercial not having dropped yet. Could Romney win? Of course. I just find it funny that the Corporate media is anointing him already.
And if Gingrich does squeak out a win, or Romney wins but just barely, watch the media turn on a wooden nickel to snatch the anointing away from the Mittster again.
.
Mitch got himself a new debating prep master. Got Newt dumbfounded on his own mutual funds of Freddie Mac stocks. At least we now know Hillary ain’t watching the debates: Hillary Clinton To Step Down After 20 Years Political “High-Wire”
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
I have to say that I also wasn’t happy to see Mittens debating competently and aggressively. But he didn’t actually have any true answers for Santorum on Romneycare vs ObamaCare, and his aggressive attacks were often full of lies (as on Freddie and Fannie being the cause of the meltdown). I simply don’t see him being able to debate Obama effectively. Mittens depends on lies that work well with a partisan audience and a moderator that doesn’t push back. Unless I’m wrong, Obama will cream him – cause in the end he’s got nothing.
I feel this way too. What happens when Mitt can’t lie without someone calling him on it? He will implode.
Haha I love that, thanks a lot.
