If questioning the use of birth control is taking the Culture War to 10, how can the wingnuts get this thing to 11?

Wife-beating?
Spousal discipline, you mean.
But I’m voting for … anti-obscenity laws, that include everything from Catch-22 to The Invisible Man. Why? Are you pro-obscenity?
Spousal discipline, you mean.
Fancy-pants words are part of the pussification of America, commie.
Too late. Done already.
And did you see who was the dipshit who complained about the teacher? Interesting, eh?
they’ve already made that leap in NH (ok, now find link …). or how about the judge who sentenced an abusive man recently to take his wife on a date. so yes, that’s the next step. domestic abuse – send the couple off together for quiet time in an isolated place;
Online porn and masturbation.
Too late. Done already.
These guys are just too hilarious. Everyone buy all the guns you want, but absolutely NO porn – because what we really need is to have an even more weaponized and sexually frustrated society.
We haven’t heard from the wingnut womenfolk yet. With any luck they’ll put on a pair of shoes & pack their broods into their Escalade and arrive at the podium. Beyond that I just can’t imagine what they’ll say, but it will probably crush my imagination.
You won’t hear from the womenfolk – they’re supposed to stay at home and breed.
The few exceptions are career women who forge their careers out of telling other women not to have careers.
On right wing and religious radio, it actually is largely female voices that have been heard on the birth control issue from the beginning, favoring the Catholic bishops position. Which makes it even more of a mystery why Republican legislators wouldn’t bring any of them to DC to testify. It just shows their incompetence at even their own game. Thank goodness.
Putting the homeless in internment camps.
Debtors prison.
Make unemployed pay back their benefits when/if they get their minimum wage job.
Do away with Roe v Wade forever
Make wives stay with men who beat them and get “counseling”
See, we’re not at 11 quite yet.
Spousal-rape isn’t rape.
.
Italian court reverses ‘tight jeans’ rape ruling, news of ruling didn’t arrive down-under.
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
Burning witches?
Well, let’s see… how about they escalate from just contraception and go after the entire Medicare and Medicaid system on the state level. As a famous movie character once said, “I have a bad feeling about this…”
women’s suffrage. Coulter’s already on it, saying Dems will only win because women can vote.
That and maybe pushing for a return to the 3/5s compromise.
Original intent, baby.
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA
I appreciate this.
The irony of watching the immoralists chasing fictious sets of morals is just plain sad. Obviously none of them have managed to catch a moral yet. Elusive critters.
Allowing people to contract for lifetime labor.
Newton was a religious weirdo; can’t teach physics without metaphysics.
Religious employers should not be forced to fund activities they find morally objectionable. Employees should have to get signed permission from their employers before spending money they earned from them on birth control, or prove they had sufficient funds from sources other than their employer to pay for it.
you’re stuck on 10.
Take it to 11 by arguing single women can’t vote.
Level 12: single women without children can’t vote.
My bad…
Take it to 11 by arguing women can’t vote.
Level 12: single women can’t vote.
Lever 13: single women without children can’t vote.
Couples without children hate America.
.
To 11: Only men can acquire the means of birth control.
The Sharia law ordinances would prohibit that, wouldn’t they?
Oh, lots of ways.
11 would be property qualifications for voting (which we’ve already heard some noises about).
Bringing back child labor (which we’ve already heard some noises about). Hey how about bringing back prohibition.
Even better (12) would be things like ending the vote for women, establishing Christianity as the national religion, and instituting debt slavery.
Um, they passed ’10’ for me with Terry Schiavo. Now? They’re just re-running the ’50’s.
Actually seceding from the rest of the country would be at least 11.
Got any menial work for soon-to-be immigrants up there? I’m pretty good at gardening.
My back yard is a mess.
I guess this is part of 10.
New Hampshire state Rep. Jeanine Notter (R) arguing, in all seriousness, that birth control pills can cause prostate cancer.
