I’ll be honest. I don’t know exactly how all the security changes I put in are interacting with each other. I’m still getting a flood of spam diaries, and now some long-time users can’t post diaries. So, it’s a less than optimal solution right now.
Part of the solution is to throw some mojo love around to people you recognize from long experience. So, in this thread, make sure to uprate the comments of all familiar denizens of the Frog Pond. And if any strangers pop their heads in searching for free mojo, blast them into oblivion.
This is the best way to get people who should have the privilege their diary posting rights back without telling spammers how to game the system.
