In 2008, Bill Kristol extolled the virtues of the then little-known governor of Alaska and urged John McCain to pick her as his running mate. Today, Kristol and Steve Hayes do the same for Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan. I pray that Romney heeds their “wisdom.” Paul Ryan has introduced a budget proposal so toxic that Democrats discovered it was hard to run against because voters simply refused to believe that a major political party would propose anything like it. And Marco Rubio is most famous for defrauding his own party by using the Florida GOP’s credit card to pay for maintenance on his car and liquor purchases. They are the absolute worst choices for VP that can be imagined.
