Is a “wanker” an “embarrassingly shallow and trivial writer””?
If your running a brand marketing campaign (as Rmoney is) then looks are important. And you said Ryan wouldn’t help with the women’s vote?
Nah, I said it. And I meant it. And I’m right.
It is well known that men can be lead about by using their dick as a leash. It is embarrasing and not talked about in polite circles, but it is acknowledged and true in many cases.
In case you hadn’t noticed, women do not have dicks. They, therefore are not as liable to fall for a pretty face.
Besides, while Ryan is undoubtedly an attractive man, he wouldn’t be seen on the front cover of GQ. Scott Brown is far more photogenic and sweat producing than that.
Gavin is pretty in pink. See:

Sure. Pick a hottie to nail a few voters who choose solely on the basis of looks, not content. It can’t lose!
It sure worked for the GOP LAST TIME, dinnit? ha ha
I guess Jack Kennedy got some mileage out of his charm and good looks. But Congressman, you’re no Jack Kennedy!
Helped with men. But odd as it may seem today, Nixon won the women’s vote in 1960.
Yep. But it probably had more to do with Kennedy’s religion being a problem for some Protestant Dem women. He did though improve on Adlai’s share of the female voters and was close to Nixon’s share.
To quote @LOLGOP: Guys like Paul Ryan are why 50% of women are afraid to use Match.com.
The good looking snake. Every woman’s nightmare.
Old story – just new players.
Remember this from 2008?
Ah, Lowry thy name is wanker.
May I just go on the record and say that I do not find Ryan particularly good looking? Something about that smirky mouth and those zombie eyes.
Full disclosure: I did think Sarah Palin was sexy, though it wore off after about a year. However, I found Palin imitator Kristy Webb even cuter, and I am sure she would have made a much better vice president.

I’m with you. I not only don’t find Ryan attractive but get a creepy vibe from him. Wonder if it has something to do with not being a sucker for blue eyes.
If Palin had had an IQ over 100 and was a bit tamer in her religious nuttiness, she could have been dangerous because within the ranks of politicians she is more physically attractive (with some cosmetic help) than most pols.
More the fact that Ryan looks more on the hirsute side of the spectrum — too much hair on the forehead, heavyish beard. Reminds me of another dark Repub pol, Dick Nixon, who also (earlier in his career) was alleged in the media to have “good looks” and thus female appeal.
Go figure.
But then some women supposedly found the musclebound gorilla Arnold Schwartzenegger attractive.
It is to gag.
So now our political discourse is about men getting that thrill up their legs? Who are these people that think they can involve the ladies by telling us how sexy a guy is? When will we hear about his cute butt?
I for one will never forget Chris Matthews panting with desire over GWB’s codpiece stunt.
I was thinking the exact same thing about the codpiece when I ran across your comment. The article is embarrassing. This guy gets paid to write this crap? Maybe he’s the male equivalent to Peggy Noonan.
Except Peggy isn’t given to carnal fantasies. She pants for something more ethereal and less human. A gaga or dead Reagan that she can imagine with a golden halo is more her speed.
You’re forgetting something, you homophobe, you…
TEH GAY! How can it lose? Think of all the lesbians who voted for Sarah Palin four years ago! ha ha
Well, if McCain was right to choose Palin for her hotness as a white boy magnet then I suppose Romney’s choice of Ryan as a pretty boy is meant to attract all those women who he will deny health care to. And having a hot male VP always makes up for living with no health care donchaknow?
Patrick Gavin had better be careful. Mitt and a few campaign aides might hold him down while Mitt cuts his hair.
Fap fap fap -UGH- snore.
Patrick Gavin needs to put down the Vaseline and get back to his job.
Looking deep for the silver lining: news coverage of male pols has become equally shallow and vapid as coverage of female candidates.
