I think I need the world’s tiniest violin to play for the settlers who were evicted from Gaza and are cursing Ariel Sharon’s name. I simply have no patience for these types of complaints. These people have no self-awareness about how their sense of entitlement is an imposition on the entire rest of the world that doesn’t want to be a party to it. It’s all “Me me me me me me.”
I’m tired of it.
Good, you’re tired of it. But what are you going to do about it? I’ve been tired of it since the 1950s. I’m still not going to do anything about it.
Agree 100%.
When you stole it fair and square, you stole it fair and square. They can’t figure why the US or Australia might find what they are doing objectionable. Aren’t settlers the heroes?
They didn’t steal it early enough to get a full pass.
Reminds me of the 1960’s parody of the Exodus theme:
It goes on. But the 1967 lebensraum argument somehow just doesn’t make it, does it. Too 19th century or misses the definition of “aborigine” or something.
Israeli settlers are a really crazy. I have come to that conclusion. Encouraged by Sharon and Bibi they are the Israeli teaparty. Rebels without a clue. Israel couldn’t get them out of the West Bank short of civil war. Like religious extremists everywhere they are way beyond difficult.
