In one of the least surprising rulings in history, a Pennsylvania Commonwealth judge has said that Republicans’ voter photo ID bill is unconstitutional. It was kind of hilarious the way the GOP had to stipulate that no actual voter fraud has been discovered and then spent our tax dollars defending the law anyway even though the only remaining purpose of the bill was voter suppression. They just made the whole voter fraud idea up and actually admitted in court (in so many words). They’ll probably appeal it all the way the U.S. Supreme Court because it’s not like we could use the money to fund the Philadelphia school system or anything.

To bad he didn’t rule before the 2012 election.
I think they had an injunction on the law pending this ruling. Booman would have to confirm but I don’t think it impacted the 2012 election
you are correct.
Speaking of “take that, you goon”, at the very last minute Corbett bailed on his very first visit to a Philadelphia public school.
Why?
Because students and parents were protesting and he couldn’t take the heat.
DOOOOOOOOOOUCHE.
Why would he want to visit a Philadelphia school? Or allocate more money to the Philly system? It’s not like they’re Real Americans anyway.
he’s facing a tough re-election, and he’s so tone-deaf (and, to be honest, probably drunk), he thought visiting a school and handing out awards would be a good way to curry favor with voters. He’s also handing out something like $200 million extra for education.
I was just coming to mention that. Did you see the tweets his minions sent out? Douches at least have some worth. #OneTermTom not so much.
the replies to his twitter feed are HYSTERICAL. No one likes him. No wonder he’s drunk all the time.
