A Republican voter who isn’t rich.
That’s not just today. That’s every day.
This wasn’t stupid because no one got hurt… but it’s blowing about 35 at my place today and the “Pioneers” decided to drive their annual caravan of covered wagons with 50 outriders on mules and horses for company through my place. Was quite the show and when they got to the part of my driveway that is 14′ wide and has a 50′ drop on one side I really didn’t want to watch.
Newfie girl stood at rail and answered every time a horse bugled. Sigh. Anyways, fun stuff.
Any article that had anything in it that a GOP member, GOP Congressman or Fox news quote in it or the word Benghazi!
Related: the stupidest thing I’ve seen today is Trey Gowdy (!) and Speaker Boehner claiming that the Special Committee for All Benghazi Conspiracy Theories In Order to Prepare Articles of Impeachment and Begin The 2016 Presidential Campaign Against Hillary will be conducted in a nonpartisan manner, while on the same afternoon the RCCC set up a long-term fundraising effort which certifies contributors as “Benghazi Watchdogs”.
They’re convincing me that they’re not just doing bad things; they’re diseased, horrible people.
It isn’t so much Ayatollah Roy Moore claiming that the First Amendment doesn’t really mean what it says. That’s plenty stupid of course, but the double extra stupid part is where he tries to cite James Madison, of all people, in support of his position.
Of course, like poor white people voting Republican, wingnuts rewriting history is nothing new. But it still blows my mind sometimes how shallow and transparent their efforts are.
When easy and cheap works, no need to expend more energy and money. Replace public education and live teachers with for profit, education like day centers for children to interact with electronic screens and fooling almost all the people all the time will become even easier and cheaper. Plus adding tidy profits for Wall St. and lower tax costs to keep those day-centers open.
Benghazi!
[Geithner] cheerfully relayed a story that also appears in his book about the time he sought advice from Bill Clinton on how to pursue a more populist strategy: “You could take Lloyd Blankfein into a dark alley,” Clinton said, “and slit his throat, and it would satisfy them for about two days. Then the blood lust would rise again.”
The stupid part of that revelation is that Democrats/liberals still love that guy and are prepared to elect his like-minded wife as the next POTUS.
Well, he did paint the picture of cornering Lloyd Blankfein in an alley and slitting his throat. That’s pretty loveable.
And two days later, another one! The party never ends! Until the banksters are all gone. Nirvanah!
Quick one liner: Who was the best Republican President of the last century??? Bill Clinton
Torch cutting rebar in 35 mph winds after completion of the multimillion dollar bridge falsework. Whoosh — big fire. Serious setback for the workers and suppliers that were scheduled to begin the concrete pour within days or weeks. (The owner on this project is less than clear and the project general engineering contractor is not being reported by news organizations. The latter possibly because the owner(s) went with an innovative contracting structure where the owner(s) acts as the general. The insurance claims process and settlement on this one will employ a lot of attorney.)
I live in Philly, where do I start?
BJ’s on Septa?
simply amazing. just… yeah, amazing.
Glenn Greenwald thinks helping the Nigerian government fight Boko Haram and retrieve the kidnapped girls is the same as Iraq time eleventy.
Doubt the “time eleventy” part. And doubt that you or anyone now demanding/supporting US military action to rescue these kidnapped girls expressed any concern, much less advocated for US action, for the Nigerian girls sold into sexual slavery every year. 60 Percent Of Prostitutes In Italy Are Nigerians.
Are you prepared to address (with US military) Nigeria’s horrendous child labor issue — one the Nigerian government tolerates?
I am prepared to say that we should have been helping them with Boko Haram. They’re like the unholy spawn of Al Qaeda and the Khmer Rouge.
Don’t you know the Khmer Rouge were Freedom Fighters battling the evil American Empire?
Reaper Gov Mary Falin has decided to suspend human trials of her death penalty protocol.
Ted Cruz wins again!
When your good your fucking good. What can I say. That is one stupid asshole.
Rice speaking at Rutgers
60+% of poll responders thinking that is a good thing
More Benghazi inquiries
More IRS inquires
Utter failure of the press to point out that, yes, the hacks in Congress did that already.
Asking Clinton what her guilty pleasures are and calling it news
CNN so far made up hysteria about so far unseen, unsubstantiated waiting lists causing yet to be verified deaths that weren’t going to happen anyway.
This appeared at the Great Orange Satan. For those who don’t follow that group of simpering ninnies, user pajoly is one of the most vicious purveyors of dishonest ideological smears in the whole clown show:
Wow, pretty BS ad hominem attack (20+ / 0-)
The story made national and international news. But you are apparently the arbiter of what’s important. But if you felt thus, why’d you click the diary and start a pie war?
Seems to me you are entirely disingenuous because you clearly care A LOT about this; your aggressive and belligerent participation makes a mockery of the very words you write.
I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do, because I notice it always coincides with their own desires. – Susan B. Anthony Everything good a man can be, a dog already is. – pajoly
