It’ll be interesting to see how this gang treats the health care system in France that is touted as the best in the world. With their economy struggling there may just be some ahh adjustments.
I can’t imagine that they will make changes to the health care system. It is very well liked and costs considerably less as a percentage of GDP than we spend in the US.
We are getting closer to the time Rev. Lowery augured in his inaugural benediction, but we’re not there yet – here or around the globe. Still some rivers to cross.

A Cautionary Tale. Or a beacon?
When people feel economically stressed they tend to overreact. They also tend to look for someone to blame, lately that role has been filled by all of those at the lower economic level.In my opinion the reason for this is these people feel safe blaming those poorer for the poor have no real recourse.
Damn right we are! When we march, watch out! The Center cannot hold. We are tired of being trickled on.

Don’t read too much into European Parliament elections. They tend to be fairly meaningless protest votes. The British have been electing UKIP flakes to the EU Parliament for years. Doesn’t mean they would elect these guys into their own parliaments.
It’s a convenient protest vote, not an expression of electoral trends.
Watch the upcoming Newark by-election… that’s for a real seat in Commons.
