I understand what Michael Bloomberg is trying to do by flying in to Tel Aviv’s airport to “demonstrate” that the airport is safe for air travelers. It’s the height of tourism season and Israel can’t afford to let the perception grow that it’s unsafe to use their only major international airport. The problem is that it’s unsafe to use their only major international airport.
