   As Tarheel observed:

   You misunderstand the Cliven Bundy types, AG.  If they showed up in Ferguson, they would act as a vigilante militia and stand on the side of the police.  It’s just the free real estate and slave labor that they miss.

   The bigger story of today is how Police Chief Thomas Jackson of the Ferguson Police Department just poisoned the jury pool in the trial of his officer Darran Wilson by issuing a police report supposedly connecting Brown with a convenience store shoplifting, which was APB’d to the Ferguson police as a robbery.

   It took Officer Darren Wilson 3 minutes from contacting Brown to shooting him.  And you just smell that he, like every other murdering cop before him, is going to walk.

   And the Joe Scarboroughs and Sean Hannitys of the media are going to help him do it with their outright lies.

   That’s more of an outrage than the Scarborough’s attacks on Ryan J. Reilly.

   Ron Johnson yesterday got used as an Uncle Tom, regardless of his own decisions or feelings in the matter.

   Time for the FBI to examine falsification of evidence.  Unless they are too cowardly to confront the truth.

   Hilarious, response of the St. Charles County Swat Team to event Al Jazeera crew … they’re Arabs and Muslims, aren’t they? We can be proud of our tactical police force! Are these PR guys always present when they are losing things, remember siege of Baghdad? Curtains blowing in the shock waves of nearby explosions …

   Ferguson reporters live-tweet their arrest

   (CBC) – Two reporters covering the protests and police actions in Ferguson, Mo., were detained by authorities briefly last night and posted their reaction live on Twitter.

   # Wesley Lowery of the Washington Post and # Ryan Reilly of the Huffington Post had just met Wednesday evening in a McDonald’s, where they were having some dinner, recharging their phones and filing their reports.

   Just before 7 p.m. local time, police entered the restaurant to clean it out.

   Despite reports, SWAT Team helped Al-Jazeera reporters, did not take their equipment

   ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KTVI) – Media footage of St. Charles County SWAT Team members reportedly taking an Al-Jazeera news crew camera equipment has made international news.  But the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department says their SWAT Team was helping the journalists in Ferguson, not taking their equipment.

   In a statement released Thursday, the sheriff said their regional SWAT Team responded to Ferguson at the request of the St. Louis County police department.

   On Wednesday, an Al-Jazeera crew got caught in the tear gas.  St. Charles County SWAT Team members located the journalists, put them into their armored car and then disassembled their equipment and loaded it for them.

   A spokesperson for the St. Charles County Sheriff’s department [cached version] says the reporters “thanked their officers.”

   “In fact, last night the SWAT Team officers were assisting the media in moving their camera equipment and media personnel to a safer area with their consent so that they could continue to cover the event, ” the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

   Here’s more of the statement from St. Charles County:

   On Wednesday, August 13th, video footage was taken of St. Charles County SWAT officers handling media camera equipment. The position of the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department is that the media has the right to cover these events and supports the freedom of the press, and the SWAT Team has not been any part of attempting to prevent media coverage.

   The St. Charles County Sheriff says they will continue to help in Ferguson to protect life and property, but they will not assist in crowd control.
