Michael Brown: Is White Justice Trying to Frame a Dead Man?

If these messages are true, the racist problem isn’t just in the DEEP SOUTH!

[PS Urban dictionary use of the derogatory term honky. I see that "white' in the title is superfluous as the term is for a Caucasean. If it distracts I will change title. {Update: I changed the title} - Oui]

Chief: Officer didn’t know Brown was a suspect

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV/AP) — The Ferguson police chief says officer Darren Wilson didn’t know 18-year-old Michael Brown was a robbery suspect at the time of the shooting. Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson earlier Friday released documents alleging 18-year-old Michael Brown had been suspected of stealing a $48.99 box of cigars from a convenience store in a “strong-arm” robbery shortly before he was killed.

Many angry after police release footage showing Michael Brown allegedly robbing store

Many people in Ferguson are angry after Ferguson police released a video allegedly showing Michael Brown, Jr. stealing a box of cigars from a store. “It pissed ’em off. It pissed ’em off and for one reason, because it muddied the waters,” said Ferguson resident Reggie Harris.

Police released the surveillance video at the same time they released the name of police officer who shot Brown. “What he did was enrage the community more by releasing the name and saying ‘hey here’s the name, but we’re going to discredit Mike Brown at the same time,” said business owner Charles Davis.

‘The police are inciting violence all over again’: Michael Brown’s family attack character assassination after cops say he robbed store but also admit officer did NOT know that when he shot him

FERGUSON, Mo (Mail Online) – The Brown family said today the police were ‘inciting violence all over again’ by releasing images of a convenience store robbery which they acknowledged ‘appeared to be’ Michael Brown.

After releasing the tape on Friday, police admitted that Officer Darren Wilson didn’t know Michael Brown was a suspect in a robbery when he stopped the teen and subsequently shot him dead in Ferguson last Saturday.

Attorney Anthony Gray, a lawyer for the family, said that the release of the tape was a ‘strategic side show’ aimed at ‘denigrating their son’. Mr Gray said that the teenager’s parents, Lesley McSpadden and Michael Brown Sr, ‘never described him as the perfect kid’ and fully admitted that they had done their best to keep Michael on the right path for his future.

The lawyer added: ‘No one out there is proud of everything they have done when they were a teenager.’ Daryl Parks, another attorney for the Brown family, also told gathered media that it ‘appears to be Michael’ in the store CCTV.

Mr Gray described the release of the video – which the police chief said at a follow-up news conference on Friday was simply done because of ‘media requests’ – was a great distraction from the main issue. ‘That Michael had bullets pumped into his body while his hands were in the air,’ he added.

Michael Brown, who was unarmed, was shot up to eight times in the middle of the street in Ferguson, a St Louis suburb, around midday on Saturday.
