So Jamie Brazil works for Hillary Clinton in 2016 run for President after campaigning for John McCain and against Senator Barack Obama in 2008. Of course, Brazil has and had close ties to the Clinton/Rodham dynasty. In the election season 2011/12 he worked as vice president of field operations for Herman Cain’s campaign. Great to have you on-board again … duhh. PUMA (“People United Means Action”) …
Tony Rodham, who held a fundraising event for Mrs Clinton in Pennsylvania when she was battling against Mr Obama in the Democratic primaries, met Carly Fiorina, Mr McCain’s senior economic adviser, in the state.
Miss Fiorina was taking part in a two-day Pennsylvania bus tour designed to woo disenchanted Clinton supporters into the McCain camp. His wife Megan and their two children also attended the meeting at the home of Jamie Brazil, a long-time Clinton family friend.
News of the meeting, reported by the Scranton Times-Tribune, came as it emerged that Mrs Clinton would be deploying 40 supporters onto the floor of the Democratic convention next week to ensure that none of her supporters paid any disrespect to Mr Obama

Buses of Hillary supporters will be arriving from Ohio, New Jersey and New York to help canvass and make phone calls for Mr. McCain, the group’s director, Carol Oleski, said.

Jamie Brazil, a longtime friend of the Clintons and the Rodham family, is serving as national director of Citizens for McCain. Brazil accompanied Lynn Forester de Rothschild on her Scranton visit. Top Cain Aide Banned From Securities Industry | Mother Jones on Nov. 23, 2011 |
But the most curious Herman Cain staffer is one you’ve probably never heard of. Jamie Brazil is the vice president of field operations for Cain’s campaign. He’s also godfather to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s nephew, a onetime consultant to ex-Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, and a political operative who came under FBI scrutiny during a mammoth pay-to-play scandal that roiled Philadelphia’s political world.
Since his role in Mr. McCain’s campaign three years ago, Mr. Brazil said he had been active as a consultant in helping former Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi win a narrow majority of seats in the country’s parliament in 2010. Former President Bill Clinton recommended him to Mr. Allawi, he said.
If you’ll recall, Mr. Brazil came to know the former president in 1992, when he was running for president, through Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham, who frequently used the Rodham family vacation home at Lake Winola.

Jamie Brazil, a longtime Scranton political consultant and wheeler-dealer, was never charged with a crime in the high-profile investigation. But a watchdog group essentially barred Brazil from the securities industry in 2006 after he tried to invoke the 5th Amendment rather than answer questions about his work for two municipal-bond firms.
During the corruption probe, federal wiretaps also showed Brazil seeking business on behalf of a well-known Philadelphia Muslim cleric later sentenced to seven years in prison on charges of racketeering, commercial bribery, multiple frauds and income-tax fraud.
…
Brazil’s murky background is sure to add volume to complaints about the quality of Cain’s campaign staff, which has been reeling in recent days from its handling of sexual-harassment allegations as well as Cain’s seeming lack of knowledge of foreign-policy issues, including a disastrous, fumbling answer to a question about Libya. Cain, who had been leading in some national polls, has now fallen behind Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in new surveys.Brazil’s story is also a colorful one. Until three years ago, the now-aide to a tea party favorite was a Democrat, known for his ties to the family of that party’s stalwart Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Like Brazil, 52, the Rodham family is deeply rooted in the Scranton area, and Brazil is close to the secretary of state’s brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham. Former president Bill Clinton and Hillary once stayed at Brazil’s home on a visit to Scranton for a family event. But after Hillary Clinton lost out to President Obama in the 2008 primaries, Brazil went to work for GOP Sen. John McCain.

“The scene unspools in a grainy black-and-white home movie, circa 1951. Hazel Price, 82, who used to live next door to the Rodhams here on Diamond Street, recently dug it up, providing fresh evidence of the Rodham roots in Northeast Pennsylvania.”

A Man of the Shadows – Can Ayad Allawi hold Iraq together? | The New Yorker - Jan. issue 2005 |
In 1995, Chalabi’s plan was approved by the C.I.A., and he assembled thousands of fighters, most of them Kurds, in northern Iraq. The plot was a disaster. Saddam sent an armored force that slaughtered Chalabi’s soldiers by the hundreds. Afterward, the C.I.A. withdrew its funding from Chalabi.
Allawi’s competing plan was set into motion in 1996, with White House approval and C.I.A. funding. (Khaled Shamari, now a business consultant in Baghdad, said that, in the mid-nineties, Allawi told him that the I.N.A. [Iraqi National Accord] had received twenty-six million dollars from the United States.) Allawi claimed that he had secured contact with a cabal of Iraqi Army officers who were supposedly loyal to him. But someone apparently betrayed him. By June, Saddam had found out about the scheme and unleashed a brutal witch hunt within the military. Arrests, torture, and executions followed, and hundreds died. It was the end of the Clinton Administration’s attempts to overthrow Saddam.
