Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Cold Spring, NY street scene. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6×6 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
I’ve continued to refine the facade of the two houses. The windows have been slightly realigned and painted in a lighter shade of blue. The front of the porch now shows the characteristic brackets at the top of the posts. Under the eaves the shadow lines have been refined. At ground level. the bushes have been repainted as has the one in the rear. It’s almost done.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
