This is one of the most therapeutic songs for me to sing and play on the guitar. Not sure what it is about the entire package, but it is one my favorite Prine songs. In fact, I think this will be at the top of my playlist tonight after I finish fixing dinner. My faithful Fender is leaning in the corner and is calling my name.
through its paces a couple hours ago. Including several Prine songs, though I haven’t learned this one, yet (Speed of the Sound of Loneliness is the “newest” Prine in my repertoire). Therapeutic, indeed.
I have not yet tried to tackle Speed of the Sound of Loneliness. But is on my radar screen.

So much Prine, and so little time. I will never get through it all. My list of “to learn” Prine songs just grows and grows. I think at some point I have learned about 50 of them. I need to put a list together of the ones I have learned just so I don’t forget to run through them all occasionally.
