First Daughter at G20 Table

President’s daughter Ivanka ‘fills in for him at G20 world leaders meeting’| The Independent |

Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka has apparently filled in for the US President at a round-table meeting with world leaders at the G20. Ms Trump accompanied Mr Trump to a session at the Hamburg summit and later sat in his seat next to Theresa May, Angela Merkel and other world leaders, according to a photograph.

The meeting, which took place on Saturday morning, was on the subject of Africa, health and migration.

Ms Trump, who works as an advisor to her father at the White House, was photographed sitting in his seat by a Russian G20 official who shared the picture on social media. The official claimed Mr Trump had left his daughter in his place while he attended bilateral meetings with other world leaders.

In Hamburg this morning the “first daughter” also launched a World Bank event promoting the organisation’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Facility Initiative.

“If she weren’t my daughter it would be so much easier for her.
That might be the only bad thing she has going, if you want to know the truth.”

That candid aside came as Mr Trump spoke at the launch of the new women’s entrepreneurship fund.

Mr Trump met Russian president Vladimir Putin for the first time at the summit, and held bilateral talks with Ms May on Saturday morning

Looking at most of “New Europe”, it’s the other way around … fascist states allied with Nazi Germany against communism, participating in massacres of Jewish fellow citizens and functioning as a spearhead for US intelligence against communism after the defeat of Nazi Germany – see Gladio. Now used by the CIA in the coup d’état in Ukraine in Februari 2014.

After six solid months of co-ordinated allegation from the mainstream media allied to the leadership of state security institutions, not one single scrap of solid evidence for Trump/Russia election hacking has emerged.

The original, base accusation is that it was the Russians who hacked the DNC and Podesta emails and passed them to Wikileaks. (I can assure you that is untrue).

The original “Russian hacking” allegation was that it was the Russians who nefariously obtained these damning emails and passed them to Wikileaks. The “evidence” for this was twofold. A report from private cyber security firm Crowdstrike claimed that metadata showed that the hackers had left behind clues, including the name of the founder of the Soviet security services. The second piece of evidence was that a blogger named Guccifer2 and a websitecalled DNC Leaks appeared to have access to some of the material around the same time that Wikileaks did, and that Guccifer2 could be Russian.

That is it. To this day, that is the sum total of actual “evidence” of Russian hacking. I won’t say hang on to it as a fact, because it contains no relevant fact. But at least it is some form of definable allegation of something happening, rather than “Russian hacking” being a simple article of faith like the Holy Trinity.

A “G20 open thread” with updates might have
garnered more reader attention than your multiple posts on this event.

WRT to Trump’s kid, and the huge bows on her sleeves, if HRC had won and pulled a stunt like this, the rightwing would be calling for her impeachment. Although it’s difficult to imagine that HRC would have done something as inappropriate as this.

President Trump on Monday roped Chelsea Clinton into the controversy over Ivanka Trump briefly taking his seat at a G20 meeting over the weekend — prompting the former First Daughter’s retort in yet another Trump-Clinton social media spat.

“When I left Conference Room for short meetings with Japan and other countries, I asked Ivanka to hold seat. Very standard. Angela M agrees!” Trump tweeted just after 7:30 a.m.

“If Chelsea Clinton were asked to hold the seat for her mother,as her mother gave our country away, the Fake News would say CHELSEA FOR PRES!” he added about 15 minutes later.

Clinton fired back just before 8:30 a.m.

“Good morning Mr. President. It would never have occurred to my mother or my father to ask me,” she wrote. “Were you giving our country away? Hoping not.”

Not so sure it would never have occurred to either of her parents, but unlike DT, they employ protocol professionals who would have nixed it.

One conjecture that I’m confident about is that had the pros been overruled and Chelsea sat in for her mother, HRC fans would have responded exactly the way DT fans have. For devotees, appropriate isn’t based on a standard but on the actors involved.
