Well, at last some appreciation for my analysis … thanking British Intelligence!

Just reflected on some articles that linked the Skripal Case in Salisbury to MI6 agent Pablo Miller. I wrote about Pablo Miller in January 2017 involved with Orbis Business Intelligence and Christopher Steele. The LinkedIn page of Pablo Miller has been erased. Many other bloggers have spun further and looked into this peculiar relationship and the campaign of British anti-Russia hysteria and propaganda.

Pablo Miller – Wikispooks

Sergei Skripal

In the early 1990s Sergei Skripal was recruited by an MI6 agent Pablo Miller, whom the British media declined to name. Miller was an MI6 agent in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Miller’s main task was recruiting Russians to provide information about their country to the British. An interesting fact, possibly coincidental, was that the MI6 officer under diplomatic cover in Moscow at this time was Christopher Steele. Steele was later to become better known as the principal author of the infamous Trump dossier.

Orbis Business Intelligence

Pablo Miller is now working with a British security consultancy named Orbis Business Intelligence. Again according to the Telegraph, Miller’s association with this company has now been removed from Miller’s LinkedIn profile.

The obvious question again is: why do so now?

Orbis is the same private intelligence agency as that of Christopher Steele. It seems more than a mere coincidence that the same three men who had personal and professional links going back to the 1990s should have a continuing association at the same time as the Steele dossier was being compiled and later as the so-called Russiagate inquiry was imploding. Former FBI Director James Comey described the Steele dossier as “salacious and unverified” in a Senate hearing.

Probable Western Responsibility for Skripal Poisoning

UPDATE: Stupidly I had forgotten this vital confirmation from Channel 4 News (serial rebel Alex Thomson) of the D Notice in place on mention of Pablo Miller.

Back then I did not realise what I now know, that the person being protected was Pablo Miller, colleague in both MI6 then Orbis Intelligence of Christopher Steele, author of the fabrications of the Trump/Russia golden shower dossier. That the government’s very first act on the poisoning was to ban all media mention of Pablo Miller makes it extremely probable that this whole incident is related to the Trump dossier and that Skripal had worked on it, as I immediately suspected.

Where They Tell You Not to Look

At the very beginning of the of the Skripal incident, the security services blocked by D(SMA) notice [Defence and Security Media Advisory] any media mention of Pablo Miller and told the media not to look at Orbis and the Steele dossier on Trump, acting immediately to get out their message via trusties in the BBC and Guardian. Gordon Corera, “BBC Security Correspondent”, did not name the source who told him to say this, but helpfully illustrated his tweet with a nice picture of MI6 Headquarters.

MI6’s most important media conduit (after Frank Gardner) is Luke Harding of the Guardian.

A number of people replied to Harding’s tweet to point out that this was demonstrably untrue, and Pablo Miller had listed his employment by Orbis Business Intelligence on his Linkedin profile. That profile had just been deleted, but a google search for “Pablo Miller” plus “Orbis Business Intelligence”, without Linkedin as a search term, brought up Miller’s Linkedin profile as the first result (although there are twelve other Pablo Millers on Linkedin and the search brought up none of them). Plus a 2017 forum discussed Pablo Miller’s Orbis connection and it both cited and linked to his Linkedin entry. [highlighted by Oui]

But then Harding is that. From a wealthy family background, privately educated at Atlantic College and then Oxford, Harding became the editor of Oxford University’s Cherwell magazine without showing any leftwing or rebel characteristics. It was not a surprise to those who knew him as a student when he was employed at the very right wing “Daily Mail”. From there he moved to the Guardian. In 2003 Harding was embedded with US forces in Iraq and filing breathless reports of US special forces operations.

Moving to Moscow in 2007 as the Guardian’s Moscow correspondent, others in the Moscow press corps and in the British expatriate community found him to be a man of strongly hawkish neo-con views, extremely pro-British establishment, and much closer to the British Embassy and to MI6 than anybody else in the press corps.

    Sergei Skripal once was a colonel in a Russian military intelligence service. In the early 1990s he was recruited by the MI6 agent Pablo Miller. He continued to spy for the Brits after his 1999 retirement. The Russian FSB claims that the British MI6 paid him $100,000 for his service.

British spies reportedly first recruited him in Madrid back in 1995. According to The Times, an undercover MI6 officer pitched Skripal, then working for Russian military intelligence in Spain, by suggesting that the two go into business exporting wine to Russia. MI6 gave Skripal the codename “Forthwith” and filled a secret Spanish bank account with $100,000 as payment for outing fellow spies posted across Europe.

In 2010, a Spanish court convicted former Spanish spy Roberto Flórez García of working for the Russians in the early 2000s–an act which reportedly included the betrayal of Skripal. Skripal was arrested in 2004 and proved a model prisoner. The FSB said he confessed immediately and identified Miller as his MI6 recruiter, operating under the false identity of Antonio Alvarez de Idalgo.

The Federal Security Service accused one-time British diplomat Pablo Miller of recruiting former tax inspector Vyacheslav Zharko on behalf of British intelligence.

Zharko, who turned himself over to the FSB in June, has said he was introduced to British intelligence officers by former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko and later handed over information about the Russian economy.

The FSB said Miller also had been implicated in the espionage cases of retired intelligence agency Colonel Sergei Skripal and former FSB officer Valeriy Oyamyae. Skripal was convicted of spying for Britain last year and sentenced to 13 years in prison. Oyamyae was convicted of spying for British and Estonian special services in 2001.

At the time of Oyamyae’s conviction, the FSB said Miller was an agent working as the first secretary of the British Embassy and accused him of working alongside the Estonian Interior Ministry’s security police department.

The FSB said Miller also went by the name Antonio Alvares de Hidalgo.

The first public mention of a connection between Zharko and Miller appears to be an Aug. 9 posting on web forum Able2Know.com. The author of the post says he learned that Zharko had identified Antonio Alvares de Hidalgo as his “tutor” from MI6 some time ago, and questions whether the re-employment of an exposed MI6 agent stemmed from the agency’s need to “retrench” or whether “the department officers of MI6 are so goofy they make such blunders.”
