Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Tudor-style Victorian in Goshen, NY. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below along with a photo that shows the house in less glaring light. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on an 8×10 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
There are a number of changes for this week’s cycle. Most apparent amongst these is the faux half-timbering in the front-facing gable and dormer. It is what gives this house much of its character. Note the window details, siding and overpainted chimneys. Finally, the roof has been repainted.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
