Booman posted an article on Memorial Day titled “Giuliani Concedes that Impeachment is Coming. (<http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2018/5/28/105124/100>) In it, he quoted Rudy Giuliani in an interview he did for CNN…a network that is plainly in the anti-Trump vanguard.
Among other things, Giuliani said:
Members of Congress, Democrats and Republicans, are going to be informed a lot by their constituents. And so our jury – and it should be – is the American people.
A lengthy…and badly needed…translation seemed in order. I posted it as a reply to Booman’s article, and now here it is as a standalone. Read on.

Translation:
With a few negligible, relatively honorable exceptions, the members of Congress (Democrats and Republicans) are going to be informed by their polls and their major contributors about the desires of their constituents on this matter. If those members of Congress..again, Democrats and Republicans…believe that voting for impeachment and/or simply supporting the ongoing investigation of Trump’s election will help them to stay in power, that is what they will do. If not? That is what they will not do. And so our jury – as it should be – is the American people. The American electorate, to be precise, because our government does not really give two shits about those who do not…or cannot…vote as long as they don’t engage in major criminal and/or revolutionary activity.
But…who controls the minds of said American electorate? The mass media does, without a doubt. And who controls those media? The same corporate entities that control the government. In the long run it will be up to them…I call them the controllers…to perform major damage control on this situation
The truth of the matter is that the “jury” that will truly decide this case is the .01%. As it should be…at least according to them…and as it has been at least since the assassination years if not well before.
So it goes.
And…I say the following wth real intent, with no intended snark whatsoever:
In God We Trust
That’s what has been printed on most the money printed in the U.S. for the last 100+ years.
And…once again…it is “the money” that is going to make the decision.
Bet on it.
We shall see how they bet.
