Welcome back, music lovers. I’m back to minimal wave and equivalent dangers:
Chromatics have been around for the last couple decades, although membership (and sound) has varied. There is just something about this track. Seems ideal for film soundtracks. In fact their music does make its way on to soundtracks on the big and small screens. More to come as time permits. Cheers.
Since tomorrow is Pi Day, I will be serving pie drinks all week. I begin with the oldest recipe from Tipsy Bartender I can easily find, How to make the Flaming Pumpkin Pie Shot.
It turns out there is at least one pie drink recipe on Tipsy Bartender older than the one I posted yesterday, How to make the Pumpkin Pie Milkshake, which was posted a day earlier, but was a couple of screens below the one above on the search results page.
Today’s Tipsy Bartender recipe is Apple Pie A La Mode Cocktail.
Some more minimal-wave inspired music.
Soft Cell w/J. G. Thirlwell (then known by his stage name Clint Ruin). Ghost Rider was already a classic by the time they covered it. The original is especially brutally bleak. This is cheerful in comparison.
