The Pond is very quiet. How is everyone?
I am keeping an eye on the weather in my region. Too much in the way of severe storms for comfort. It shall be a long night.
A lot of us who value liberal democracy feel very much like we are on the back foot, and it’s understandable. Every now and again, whether it’s the results of a special election in Alabama last week or this Sunday’s local elections in Turkey, I am reminded that there is still reason to hope.
