Bill Frist is an idiot. I guess he’s mad because he wasn’t given some kind of notice about the closed session. That guy really likes the insider info doesn’t he? Tonight’s cartoon is yet another example of a joke that wrote itself.

Every picture I see of Frist has Trent Lott in the background. He must be 1.) thinking to himself “I would’ve never let this happen” and 2.) enjoying the spectacle (deep in his heart of hearts, if he has a heart).
Lott seems to be gently pushing for Rove to be cut loose, too. You don’t think it’s payback for kicking him out of the Majority Leader post, do you?
I think that Lott is waiting to pounce in case Frist has his own indictment to handle.
