A girlfriend came over today to make pierogies. She then stayed for a very nice dinner. I’m a touch exhausted and I am almost ready to turn in, but there’s a train to put together around the tree and a couple of gifts to wrap.
No, though that would be cool. It’s a Disney one that my mom sent last year. It runs on about a billion batteries, so I’m sure it whistles and flashes to beat the band.
To all BooTribbers, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here’s the most famous Christmas tree in the world, from the greatest city in the world. 🙂
I’ll be back in the cafe in about a year to wish you all season’s tidings again. Have a good 2007, folks.
I shopped for her early and then when I was shopping for the boys I forgot half of what I had bought her so I got some more. She got 3 suits, two with pants and a jacket and one with a skirt, a couple of shirts, some nice shoes, a purse, and a tea kettle because they’ve all been boiling water for tea in a little soup pot and I was afraid they’d burn the house down.
Colin loved the harmonicas and Ben is listening to his Dane Cook comedy CD on his new stereo. And Hopeful loves all the boxes and wrapping.
I got a nice picture of one of the cincy contingent’s cats playing in the boxes. The best one didn’t come out though because he decided to bounce on a piece of cardboard just as I shot it and his face is a whisker-blur.
Happy Holidays everyone!!! I just got back from the Christmas Eve dinner and I had a blast!!!! The hostest I already knew but I met two fabulous women and had a great time laughing and talking. Spending time with kindred spirits at the holidays brings a special smile to my face, soul and heart!!!! Just as spending time in the pond does!!! Here is a special design for the ponders that will not go into my design stores untill next holiday season.
I could have sworn you could delete your own comments. Well, I guess it’s OK, I mean, I really was joking about the confessions. Really. Just kidding. Whoa, is that Santa I hear? Eveybody get off the computer and go top bed. Why the Hell can’t you delete yout own comments?
but just wanted to extend holiday greetings from me and the spouse.
The presents are wrapped (I even let him unwrap one tonight), we stayed home tonight (spouse had a mild cold, so we’ll catch the morning service before brunch), and we watched part of the St. Peter’s service before we got bored with it. Benedict’s Christmas blessing urged people to prepare for Christmas by eliminating prejudices…considering the Catholic Church’s stance on GLBT folks, that seems a trifle ironic. Then again, I’m not a Catholic so I probably shouldn’t be commenting…
Hope you all have a good night…I’m off to bed now like a good spud…
assuming that there are some folks around to howdy.
Hi Andi, Merry Christmas to you & yours. This is my eves hummingbird from today.
Wonderful and wondrous photo.
I`d fogotten the ornament with that fellow, Jim. He can`t be all bad.
Not bad — except for the cat which ain’t never gonna happen.
The beard color and belly are about right, but there’s way too much hair on that head.
Jim
and now it is time to finish wrapping the gifts.
But, I d thought that I would check in first. How is it going?
Just fine here — we’ve been to cincy and back to spend the day with Jim’s mother, brother, wife, daughters and his in-laws. It was a very nice day.
That sounds nice. How was the drive?

It was very nice. The drive is boring (especially since we’ve done it so often) and takes about 2 1/2 hours.
I love toy trains. Is it a wooden one?
No, though that would be cool. It’s a Disney one that my mom sent last year. It runs on about a billion batteries, so I’m sure it whistles and flashes to beat the band.
I’m sure it will delight Andrew and that’s what counts. We had an elaborate HO setup when I was a kid — I loved it.

Where are you going?
hope you have some excellent partying planned.
I hope that sign-off doesn’t mean you won’t be back until next Xmas but if it does, have a great year and don’t study too hard. 🙂
from the mountains, Christmas Eve Haiku: 24 December 2006:
it comes with the snow
serenely white…quietly
calling our names…peace
Peace and blessings to all.
BTW, Head…thanks a lot for blowin’ my cover…gotta go into the WPP now…
don’t you have some rounds to make? :{)
Merry ChristmaHannaKwanStice!
to you too, dada. Thanks for the poem.
Great haiku — seems like it ought to have a photo to go with it, though.
Season’s Greetings to you.
Merry Christmas from SN and the nature kids.
And the mystery is: how many more chins can I grow? :/
Don`t have a cow about the chins. You`re lucky you`re not in China.
Should I take the cow personally? 🙂
Not at all but if you want one I can have one moo-sey on over. And that`s no bull.
Don’t tell Ryan but at first glance I thought she looked like she’d just done a performance of Cats.
I know! I told her she looks like that guy in the tv show of Beauty and the Beast with Linda Hamilton.
She’s wearing both of the hats she got for Christmas – one from me and one from Col.
I noticed her “hat” was odd but didn’t realize why.
But she doesn’t look too bad — the swelling must already be going down.
As for the chins, I’m trying to grow a few new thighs!!!!
Mmm, white meat!
Here’s a better one of Ry.
Wow, loot!

Such a nice mommy. 🙂

I want pictures.
Merries and Happies all around the Nature household,
Jim
I do have a picture or two. 🙂
Merries and happies right back atcha.
Happy Whatever You Want to Celebrate.
HJ: (In a somewhat muffled voice since it is hard to have good diction with cardboard in your mouth.) It’s mine. Mine! MINE!! I tell you!
Jim
We’re entertaining company at the moment but I’ll be back later on.
Everything is wrapped. The train works and I am pretty tired. Tomorrow will be a long day. I’ll stop by when Andrew is napping.
Good night everyone.
sweet dreams

Merry Almost Christmas, everyone!
I finally got through working on my m-i-l’s computer and now can use it. What’s up?
This is me, I didn’t realize KS had left herself logged in.
Since no one is around, I can safely confess:
that I started the Pie Wars, by posting the ads on orange.
that I bribed the Giants to play so badly today.
that I am eastcoastmoderate.
I feel much better now. I’ll just post the comment and then wait five minutes and delete it. This is great.

stole…err, found this over on a Big Orange thread, so brought it over for our enjoyment:
Have a good one! 🙂
Merry Christmas to you all and to your oved ones!
