Uninformed is correct. Ignorance is curable. Stupid goes right to the bone.
It is a FACT that ARRA cut taxes for most Americans. But our news media does not deal in facts, they only deal in competing allegations which they do not believe it to be their job to sort out. So, most Americans not only do not know that ARRA gave them a tax cut, they think that ARRA and TARP are the same.
This is a small part of a systematic dereliction of duty by a news media which has more freedom to investigate and report facts than any in the world.
