I had a Pat’s cheesesteak today with cheese fries. It was good.

new eastern thread.
hi booman, Do you have any pull at TO? Can you get them to change the link from the image on the middle of the front page? Getting ribbed on this, I am. Topic may not be east but I’m nwnj.
I used to hit Geno’s all the time. Not sure if their new and notorious sign will keep me away or not.
oy
i was at genos a few friday nights ago
i saw the sign…..although im more offended by the freedom fries sign…..and WAY more offended by how bad the cheesesteaks are.
pats is only a smidgen better…jims are good but they dont put much meat in them…johns are great but they are never open when i want a cheesesteak and am in the city…dallesandros are very very good and when i moved back to the area after college they brought me out of my 5 year vegetarian fog…..i have had cheesesteaks all over the country and i believe the very best i ever had was fabrizios on westfield ave in pennsauken…they are loaded with meat, the toppings are also generous, the bread is wonderful, and the all important drip factor is abundant.
the only reason to go to pats or genos is because its 2am and nobody else is open.
