Last night, I spent some time reviewing the links to tribber blogs that BooMan was kind enough to provide. I looked at most if not all of them. I spent some time reading Man Eegee’s posts and looking at Olivia’s amazing flowers, amongst others.
It was heartening to see the high quality of work being done. And a thought came to me. I’ll elaborate below.
It seems to me that a fair number of us have our own blogs. (Mine will be a year old this month.) What I am proposing, in part, is that when there are action items to be posted, that we post them to each of our own blogs. In doing this, we can reach an even wider audience for those issues that require immediate attention.
Also, I would be happy to link to other tribber blogs and would urge others to do so. I already link to BooMan Tribune, of course. (top of my short blogroll.) (Please note that I post only my substantive pieces on my blog, and not my painting diaries, if that is of any concern. Also, I post once or twice a week, at the very least.)
Please, indicate your thoughts below.
Similar to being frogmarched, over at Survivor Left Blogistan, “we” endeavor to vote someone off the virtual island each week, although lately I’ve had too many choices to ponder.
I think it’s a good idea.
And ot, but I just saw your EC meetup diary that you posted the other night…I completely missed it, but I want to come.
Cool! With the cabin boys, I assume?
Great.
I am pretty sure the asklets will be there, so hope you bring your boys.
But of course…They’d like to meet the boran2 boy and asklets!
Great idea, boran. I also recommend offering cheesecake on a regular basis 🙂
I’m wondering if maybe we could use the World/Open thread here to post those types of alerts? Just an idea to try to get more usage of those Regional Threads up top.
Thanks, yours is also a very good idea. But I prefer brownies. 😉
I’m going to add you to my blogroll … if that’s okay w/ you.
I like Manny’s idea of using the regional threads more … and the cheesecake is a stellar idea as well. 🙂
Thanks, I’m going to do the same.
