Not much to add to this, except to say, this young woman has my admiration:
By the way, my family has no dental and a crappy high deductible health insurance plan. Over the past 2 years we have averaged out of pocket medical expenses including cost of health care insurance of $20,000. That’s 25% of our total income. And I know people who have it far worse than we do. So, yes, I appreciate what this woman is saying.
Love the sentiment. Baffled by her aversion to the lower case ‘r.’
Who knows? I don’t care though.
“R”ich.
(It’s code.)
AG
daRling, we R the 1%.
It’s simply wheRe you emphasize matteRs.
That is a lower case ‘r’. At least in my handwriting.
She may have attended foreign schools … that would account for the profoundly unamerican sentiments.
The wingnuts will simply say she and Buffet are free to send as much money as they want to the Treasury. Go for it.
The Government will just waste it.
Interestingly, in actual numbers there are far far fewer 1%ers who think they shouldn’t pay more than schmucks among the other 99% who think the 1% pay too much.
