   How is that little toe-sucker still relevant to anything.  Hasn’t the 22-year-long grift worn out yet?

   When can we have the joy of seeing a pic of him by a shopping mall with his corrugated cardboard sign begging for handouts? At which point the appropriate donation would be Wolfowitz’s comb.

   Like Cheney, his name will itself become a pejorative.

   And linked eternally in history to the Clintons.

   Little recourse seen for Democrats on Social Security rule change
    By David Lawder

   …The new legislative rule, pushed through with little notice last week,
   would prohibit a routine transfer to the Social Security Disability
   Trust Fund, which is expected to be depleted by late 2016.

   Without an injection from the main Social Security retirement fund, the disability program would have to cut benefits by some 20 percent, only paying out what it can collect from payroll taxes.

   Congress approved the last such “reallocation” transfer in 1994 after several in the 1980s under President Ronald Reagan.

   Republicans say they passed the rule change to force reforms to the disability program, which they claim is rife with fraud and mismanagement. Democrats, unable to stop the shift, have called it a “stealth” move to cut benefits.

     The reallocation should come from general funds or an increase in the SS tax, not by raiding retirement funds.
     In my very limited experience, SS disability has gone to grifters and alcoholics, although the sample size can be counted on one hand.

       Yeah, definitely limited experience. My friend works in SS disability as a lawyer. It ain’t easy to qualify.

         That seems to be if one is genuinely disabled like my deaf from birth grandson. However, if you lap up enough booze to be unemployable, you can get SS money.
