     I loved Donna Brazille’s response:

     In one exchange, Donna Brazille, Al Gore’s campaign manager and a stalwart of the Democratic Party, responded with frustration to a writer’s threats of defection. “Honestly, this is the 9th email today,” she wrote before 8:00 pm. “So I believe you’re ready to not only destroy Roe versus Wade, voting rights, civil liberties and civil rights. Perhaps adding trillions more to the deficits through non-stop tax cuts to the wealthy and 100 more years in Iraq. Yes, please join Rush and McCain asap. The train has left. Catch it.”

       I am tired of this. Maybe we should give them another week, but just for the record, I am sick of their delusional bullshit. She can call him everything but a child of God, but he’s “playing the race card;” he’s misogynist? Seriously?

       Some of her supporters are worse than fanatical. Can they project more than they already have? And can someone give Paul Krugman a tissue and a clue? Sheesh. I’m not even linking to that POS bunk he called a column today.

       This hasn’t been fun, but it has been instructional. But damn all this hand-wringing and need to have their ass kissed! I’m ready to take it to McCain.

   according to abc, obama is now ahead in the SD count:

   Sen. Barack Obama moved into the lead today in the last category that Sen. Hillary Clinton had claimed to have an edge — support among the Democratic Party’s superdelegates.

   The Illinois Democrat grabbed the superdelegate lead thanks to a switch by New Jersey Rep. Donald Payne and an endorsement from previously uncommitted Rep. Peter DeFazio of Oregon.

   Those two votes gave Obama a 267-266 lead over Clinton. That is a huge shift since the days when Clinton boasted about a 60-plus vote lead among the party’s pros back on Super Tuesday.

     Needed for the Nomination:  162 total delegates including 33 pledged delegates need for a majority of pledged – all waiting the Obama bandwagon to come by.

     Slate: The Hillary’s Deathwatch is now a Widget- A steady stream of endorsements for Obama hold Clinton at bay.

     Hillary’s chance of winning the nomination 2.1%

But I am horrified by this effort to threaten votes for McCain if super delegates don’t vote for Sen. Clinton. I have received hundreds of emails from both sides – but I can say without exception that I have not received a single email from an Obama supporter that threatened a vote for McCain if I didn’t support Sen. Obama. You really ought to be ashamed.”

   My gut feeling is that this would be the reaction from many of the uncommitted SDs – no one likes to be blackmailed and harassed.

   The remaining diehards of the Clinton supporters have entered Kamikaze-mode…

    This is endearing:

   Look at the presidential loser’s club that has lined up behind Obama: Walter Mondale, George McGovern, Gary Hart, Ted Kennedy, Bill Richardson, Chris Dodd, and John Kerry.

   What kind of person says that stuff?  So much for Senatorial respect & decorum.

     so here’s a question: after spending the past couple of months going fucking berzerk about Obama, is there any way for blogs like No Quarter, Taylor Marsh, Talk Left, Corrente, et al to back away from their hysteria?

     And has nayone else notices that Taylor Marsh looks exactly like Lady Elaine Fairchild?

       That’s what it is…when I saw her photo, I kept thinking merry-go-round and couldn’t figure out why.  A friend of mine said Marsh reminds him of the chicken lady character from Kids in the Hall.
