Running late again – since our phone line went dead for three days. The guy who came to fix it blamed it on “some idiot” who disconnected us at the local exchange when hooking up a new client. This is about the third time this has happened.
Fortunately we had Albert to instruct us during that time in the fine art of Bunny Zen.
Gorgeous view!
We do get good sunsets. Not always spectacular, but almost always pretty.
Lovely view. And a great set of shots (actually not just these but the whole diary).
to make this worth Albert’s while.
LOL, love this one.
Later that same evening he tried to lie next to her belly. This ended badly when she stretched her legs and knocked him over. I suspect he’ll stick to her backside from now on.
Too cute.
Unfortunately for Luna, the better her behavior has been visa vie Albert, the more he invades her space. Which she doesn’t mind per se, except that it totally ratchets up the temptation to throughly snarfel him (she snorts and nose prods him with such damp and sloppy vigor that afterwards he looks like he’s been licked by a cow), and she gets yelled at for that.
Poor Luna, she’s always in the dog house for something.
immense amounts of cute.
Great shot.
Luna appears to expect her dinner in “courses”.
Because there’s no such thing as “too much Albert”.

* Yet Another Dogs Doing Nothing Very Photogenically
And as usual, they do it so well.
We’ve just had the clouds burn-off on what promises to be a fine afternoon. Although Imogen and I (and almost everyone else living around here) would have preferred that it had stayed cloudy and rained. Oh well.
Yesterday I took Luna for a walk along a local river (which is one of the few smaller ones to still have water in it) and saw a pair of black swans, some pacific black ducks, a pair of teals, a little black cormorant, a pied cormorant, two cattle egrets, several native hens, a dozen coots, and an entire convention of lap-winged plovers. While it’s nice to see so many in one walk, I suspect their getting a bit crowded having to share fewer and fewer streams.
Wow, that’s quite a bird watching coup. Too bad it has such an unfortunate cause.
