I am looking into the odd and contradictory comments of Richard Ben-Veniste concerning the July 10, 2001 meeting between Cofer Black and George Tenet, and Condi Rice. It looks like Ben-Veniste is walking back the cat. He is muddying the waters. It’s a good thing, too. Because the timeline was beginning to fall apart rather transparently. If I find anything worth reporting, I will.

Ben-Veniste now contradicts his earlier statements. He’s having a little problem with the truth. One wonders what pressure was brought to bear that achieved consensus to scrub the report.
