Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the painting of FDR’s house. The photo that I’m using is seen directly below.
I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.
When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since last time I have continued to work on the painting.
In the intervening time I made many unsatisfactory revisions to the shaded blue trim of the house, most of which I will
spare showing our viewers. I was able to finally get things to a point I deemed acceptable and made further revisions to
the sky, chimney and distant wing to the right. Note the balustrade above the foreground shadow. The painting is now
finished.
The current and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
