Remember my diary about Desperate, scandal-ridden Ney’s homophobic robocall? It included the text of the hilariously pathetic robocall Ney’s campaign put out after his Democratic opponent Zack Space did an interview on Rachel Maddow’s radio show. Read the transcript here if you’d like to find out what Ney’s campaign thought the good people of Ohio would find so horrifying. Actually, Bob Ney (Jack Abramoff’s homey, currently under investigation for ethics violations) most likely doesn’t want you to actually know what Zack Space said. He just hopes that Ohioans will be shocked–SHOCKED–that Zack Space did a radio interview with a "cross-dressing lesbian". Ney, of all people, pursuing a "guilt by association" angle against his opponent (which Rachel Maddow counters beautifully here).
