Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the El Morro National Monument painting. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6×6 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
The big change here is the junipers. I’ve now painted a layer of blue shadow overlaid with green lit foliage. It has a nice texture to my eye. Note the shadow cast by the small bush out front. The cloud also has been revised a bit. Next week it’s the foreground.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
