The Republicans do not want people to vote. This is the truth. If you listen, they are honest about it. For example, I just heard a field reporter tell Tucker Carlson that turnout in Missouri is very high all across the state. Carlson said, “That’s not what you want to hear this year if you are a Republican.”
That was refreshing honesty. Another thing Republicans don’t want to hear is reports about their voter suppression efforts. That is why Laura Ingraham has used her radio show to encourage prank calls to 1-888-DEM-VOTE, a line for reporting voting problems.
Out in Colorado’s fifth district, Republicans have been throwing stink bombs at Jay Fawcett’s headquarters and issuing death threats.
We’ve already heard about major robo call efforts in New Hampshire and Virginia. The FBI has been called in in Virginia to investigate this voter suppression effort.
If you stop and think about it, why would you ever vote for a party that relies on voter suppression to win elections? Seriously.
