Sen. Edwards visited Austin, Texas and thrilled a crowd of over 1,000 supporters at Scholz Beer Garden. The crowd was entertained by Marcia Ball and her band as we waited for the main event.

Many of the leading Democrats in the area were in attendance.
State Senator Kirk Watson (D-Austin) spoke to start the event and introduced Jim Hightower who then introduced John Edwards. Hightower said “Here is a real Democrat and a True Progressive to lead America!!!”
Sen. Edwards spoke about the war in Iraq, National Health Care and what we as Americans need to do to help end global warming and the work ahead for us and the government. He spoke of poverty, education and helping not only Americans but helping the world and America becoming a Leader for Good again instead of the World Bully.
The crowd was thrilled at the speech and all you heard afterwards were people asking how to sign up and get involved and elect John Edwards as our next President.
