I guess the second question depends on your own definition of reason.
I would use the word “possible” instead.
Given the criminality and/or essential cowardice that has been evinced by the DemRat Party leaders since the 2006 elections, I think that the only thing that is going to be really possible will be business as usual plus a sort of cosmetic, fallguy sort of “cleaning up”.
A few suckers will hit the dirt and the rest will continue sucking off the fat of the land.
